I've never been on a site that equals Arfcom for volume and information.  Maybe I don't get out much..
That being said, http://www.tampasportbikes.com/forum/ is pretty decent.  I don't know if you're on the east or west coast, but lots of activity on TSB.

www.advrider.com if you are interested in having fun, www.sport-touring.net if you want to brag about how many boring street miles you ride a year, and I've got nothing for if you want to be a Harley riding fag.

That southpark was funny.  Im looking into the sport standards like the sv650 or ninja 650r.  I have sat on both already and really liked the Ninja.  Still need to go take a MSF course, etc.

In that case, Sport-touring.net has a lot of information that may interest you. It's focused more on touring with sporty bikes, but any questions you have could get answers quickly there.

There's plenty but they're usually split between the cruiser, street, motard style bikes. And even further than that into the specfic makes of each bike. But the best sportbike forum I've visited that included everyone was Knee Draggers and for Harley's (I own a Dyna Fat Bob) check out HDForums.com

Lots of libtards on there.

If you have high blood pressure, I would suggest staying away from their politcal forums

www.cbr1100xx.org

Great bunch of guys. Plenty of gun talk. There are a few libtards that we keep around as chewtoys/entertainment but its predominantly "conservative". Beware the site is not and will never be censored. The only rule is that if you post porn you put NWS in the title. Its a sportbike site dedicated to the CBR1100XX but since its not longer in production...and pretty much never breaks we don't talk about it as much as you would think. We talk about everything else though. If you are a HRF its probably not the site for you but we have a few of those too and its just fine.

Yet, I've also seen Springfield Armory ads on the site.  I mostly stay at SVRider.com for my SV650 needs, a local sport bike board for local stuff, and ADVRider for daydreaming needs.  And Darth Peach.

I've been a member of esportbike for a very long time though I rarely visit anymore. Nothing bad about the site, I just out grew it I guess.

That depends a lot on what KIND of bike you're planning on buying. Some brands/models have VERY active forums:
–– Harleys
–– Harley Sportsters
–– Gold Wings
–– New BMWs
–– Old BMWs
–– Vintage BMWs
–– Any dual-purpose bike, like the BMW R1200GS
–– Yamaha V-Stars
...etc.

Then there are others that have very limpid forums, because those make/models lack:
–– a huge population of owners, and/or
–– an active accessories aftermarket and/or
–– a general lack of passion of ownership

For example, a Ducati owner will bend over backwards to meet and talk with another Ducati owner, and become lifelong friends.

A Honda 250 Rebel owner really doesn't care. The bike is just a utilitarian transport device.

So... what are you looking at? Cruisers? Naked bikes? Sport-Touring? HyperSport? Dual-purpose?...
