Is there a certain order the screws on these Burris XTR rings need tightened down?

I did mine in an X pattern.

PS be sure you torque them down. Base of the rings is usually 75 INCH pounds and top screws are usually 14 to 18 INCH pounds.

Lug nuts are usually ~65 in/#.

Steel caps between 15-20 in/#.

Aluminium caps, between 10-15 in/#.

Rails and bases, ~30 in/#.

I would have put the ring mounting nuts on the other side.

Just to remove clutter from where I will be feeding rounds into the magazine.
