Do you use your mouse or keyboard when using a computer?

I've noticed that most people use just the mouse to do most things.(Except when typing, of coarse!) Like when running Windows and Explorer.  Did you know that there are many keyboard shortcuts that will greatly increase your efficiency?

Just curious.

I use the PC a lot, my job, so I use keyboard shortcuts for lots of tasks.

Most users don't even know they are there.

I use the mouse. It's much faster than constantly transitioning from the mouse to keyboard and back again.

It may greatly increase your efficiency if you hands are constantly on the keyboard, but not if you are constantly using the mouse.

Well it depends.

If I am in a hurry, keyboard.

If I am just surf'n around the web, mouse.

Lately, I have been a mouse man [:)]

Trackball, I'm to lazy to move my arm.

I *loathe* the mouse, and if it weren't so damn hard to surf without one I would never use it. (I'd use Lynx only, but it don't work so well for displaying pics)

Seriously, I'd like to find the Xerox designers that invented the wretched thing and beat them severly with a piece of rebar.

Trackball for games and general surfing; when I’m actually working I use keyboard shortcuts. I teach as many keyboard shortcuts as I can when I’m teaching someone to use the computer for efficiency.

I'm a CAD operator, so both!  Right hand is always on the mouse, left hand is always on the keyboard.

I use telekinetic powerZ.

Really, my Dell C600 has touchpad and pointing stick.  I use them both.
