Minor hijack based on my first thought on seeing that thing. Is it a design problem to fire a .45 ACP in a chamber that long? It seems to me that the bullet is passing through several inches of chamber space before hitting the forcing cone, engaging the rifling, and starting to rotate. |

The 3" Judge has several cases of blowing barrels off. I've thought for quite some time that might be why-.45 bullet goes "off course" and hits rim of barrel. |

Not from what I've seen. Some old fudd was showing off his new Judge at a skeet shoot I attended recently. After muzzle sweeping half the crowd showing it to various friends, he got up to take some shots. Never hit a damn thing. |

Be good with shot for snakes and such.
When I hear that comment from a potential buyer at least I figure he has a bit of a clue as to it's real worth. That said they only get a box of #6 shot and a nylon on size fits most holster to go with it. When you get the "Be good for HD" buyer you get to sell some of that $25.00 + a box whiz-bang "flying disks" SD ammo, .45 long colt, and a Blackhawk holster to go with it. People are odd.

Never hit a damn thing. Our club won't allow pistols/revolvers on the trap or 5-stand ranges. I was joking, but that is funny as hell that someone tried it. |
