OK, it freaked me out. When they showed the footage of the alien in Brazil I was screaming for someone to load up, etc...

Anyway, my main question is wtf is a family doing in the middle of PA farming country w/ nothing but a baseball bat to cover their asses?

There would be some perforated gray mother%^$%&g aliens around my neighborhood...

My complaint also.

Farmers without a freakin' .22, at least?

No one even mentioned the word "gun". My guess is it was Mr. M. Night's idea and not Mr. Gibson's.

They couldnt do that. The movie would have been 5 minutes long.

It was a good movie but folks going expecting War of the Worlds were disappointed.
