Anybody have any problem with Muck Boot products or their customer service?  I was a loyal customer until recently.  Thinking about switching to another brand.  Loved their products until the last one I bought come apart on me.  Customer service said  I would receive a new pair within a week.  Two weeks went by and no package, so I contacted them again and was told "they are shipping out today".  Three weeks went by and no package.  Contacted them again, and was told "will find out what the problem is and get back to you".  Its been 2 days and still no word from them.  Wanting to know if this is an isolated case, or if this is a pattern with them.  Anybody experience anything similar?

I like BOGS better then Mucks.

But they both are better then a lot of the cheap boots out there.

Try calling and emailing some more. Squeaky wheel and all that....

The only time I had an issues was when I wore them post Katrina to clean out my great aunts house and they got some chemicals on them and proceeded to breakdown and dryrot very quickly.  I called them up and they provided me a new pair within a couple of weeks.  I had to send my old ones back in to them but then they shipped my new ones out quickly.  I have a pair of their garden shoes that I wear a lot even though my dog chewed one up a little bit.  No issues other than they will make my feet sweat.  I would call and email them every day.  How old are the boots?

I like Lacrosse better, especially the Burly's.  Mucks moved production to China and you can buy the exact same boot for half price or less at Southern States and other places now, just without the muck name.

My first pair lasted 7 years (wetland) of turkey and deer hunting.  I switched to the Woody Sport Cool model last fall before deer season.  I wore them the whole season and have been turkey hunting in them this spring.  No issues so far.

Just bought a cheap no name pair for a project.  It's been a month and they are toast.

I'll be looking for a higher quality pair.

Is there any brand, of any item what-so-ever, that's still made worth a damn?

I've worn Mucks for years with no problem, and have bought them for family members, but this last pair has me thinking twice (they are not cheap).  The run around from Customer Service really has me fuming!  NOT A STANDUP company!!!

I agree, Mucks are way overpriced.. Burlys are great.  Catch them on sale at Rural King for about 50

I just looked at their site and I like the look of the Groundouts. How do they run size wise?

I don't really know much about their CS, but the Muck's I have are great. I bought them about 6 years ago. They have waded a lot of concrete, and in the winter time they spend a lot of time in the mud and manure in the cattle feed lot. I can't complain, but I have heard people say the new production of the last year are not very good.

Awesome thank you. I'm a 13 in pretty much everything except for most boots, which I wear a 12 in. Don't want to mess around getting the wrong size if I buy a >$400 boot.

My Mucks have held up they are an ankle high chore boot.

I think if I wanted real top end though the Lacrosse are the way to go.

They are owned by Danner

Just got the lame excuse from CS that FedEx could not use the address I gave them? Yeah, right? It has worked hundreds of times over many years. I gave them an alternate address. We'll see - 5.5 weeks and waiting!
