Anyone have experience with muscle milk?

It seems kinda pricey but it looks good to me.  Thoughts? other product recommendations?

I won't make any friends with the powerlifters among us by saying this (*cough* GR8TWYT *cough*), but MM has got a lot of fat.

Depending on your goals, that can be a good thing or it can be completely couterproductive.

Tastes good. I don't quibble over carbs or fat, since my diet is shit anyway.

while I would like to slim down a little, I have a greater desire at the moment to bulk up and build more muscle mass.

If that's your goal, I see no harm in it.  Bulking prior to a cut is the best way to do it, too.

Did anyone read the ingredients in this stuff?  Do you know it has soy in it?

It's all whey isolate, but again with a disproportionate quantity of fat.

I hear it's tasty, but I have to watch my fat intake and there are better options.

I hate the stuff.  I'd rather lick a monkey's balls.

I have friends that love it though.

I like Isopure's Dutch Chocolate better, less fat too, just about pure protein.

I had a ready to go bottle from the store and it seemed pretty easy to drink, actually tasted good.

What similar products do you think are better options? hopefully cheaper ones?

ive been on a bulking stage for a couple years now. muscle milk is the only shake that i think actually tastes great. if you get the MM powder, it will not taste like the premixed MM. get it at costco. they have 18 packs for 22$. its to the point now where i'd rather drink a MM than eat chocolate ice cream.

after a work out i drink a whey protein shake for maximum uptake. but if i use a protein shake any other time of the day, its a muscle milk.  i wouldnt worry about the fat, either way you look at it. you should be getting 60-80 grams of good fat a day, reguardless, if you are cutting or bulking. MM is 'good' fat, just like olive oil.
if you cut out most of the bad fat in your diet and you are cutting, 10 grams in a MM wouldnt hurt you at all.
when cutting you want to mostly cut carbs, slow down on fats, with the main goal of cutting calories.
