I wish I had the money to buy and the knowledge to operate this:
Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker for sale I know it's a commie aircraft, but it looks awesome to me. There are a total of two Su-27's in the US that are privately owned. Privately owned Mi-24 Hinds are pretty fucking awesome too. I saw some guy land one in a vacant field in Dallas a couple years ago or so....it gave me a raging hard on |

A businessman in the Quincy, IL/Hannibal, MO area bought a Russian MiG, and trained to fly it. The guy decided to do a fly-over for a birthday party, and got into the throttle too much; he shattered windows for a few mile's radius from what I was told. I'd love to have a jet and the ability to fly it, but I'm not sure if I'd trust Russian QA. |

Or won't, unless it's really close to the aircraft? |

My Dad's friend owns this F100B. http://www.airplane-pictures.net/images/uploaded-images/2008-10/31/27769.jpg I think I've seen that plane in flight. The blue stripe looks familiar. |

When I was visiting my dad last march, he lives in La Jolla,CA, I went down to Seal Beach. While there I heard an odd noise then a Mitsu-Zero comes zippin by. replica, but I would still fly a replica zero, I would paint it red and black with a skull and crossbones, and rock an awesome scarf

I wonder how those Mythbusters feel when they spend an entire episode and whatever number of hours prepping and then get proven wrong by a 21 second youtube video.

IIRC the plane was at a higher altitude than the ones in the YouTube viddy. I think it did do some damage, but the pilot was not allowed to push the plane too hard. |

Even worse is people who wouldn't accept the simple fact that planes don't power themselves by applying force to the wheels. |

In other words, stupid US rules that are in place to protect the innocent bystanders in the middle of the desert? |
