Well, other than the Single Six I inherited when my step dad passed away......  How did I do?

One of the reasons I had to have it is because I didn't have any shiny guns.

Built like a tank.  I've wanted one for a long time but it never makes it to the top of the list.

Very nice, I have the limited 5" stainless model myself. Awesome pistols!

"How'd I do?" Is usually something judged by not only what you obtained, but the price at which you obtained it.

It's a nice revolver, I had one a few years back... but did you do well?  Dunno. How much you pay for it??

Those guns are outstanding. You could hammer nails with it and then shoot it; it won't care.

Ooooh, shiny! Nice...

Love my GP100, it's a real tack-driver and a hell of a lot of fun. Youngest son is a bit recoil sensitive (he's not a large person) but he hardly shoots his P22 after trying the GP with .38

I don't like the Hogue grips tho, so I got the original style from Ruger and swapped them out

First wheelgun is also the first gun I owned. My grandfather got it for me when I was born, so maybe it doesn't count

Sharp looking piece, my first revolver was a 6" model 19.

It's hard to wrong with a GP100. I went back and forth between the hogue rubber grips and the original Ruger panel insert grips and settled on the Ruger panel grips. Mine is one of my favorite firearms.

$549 plus tax. Came out to about $580, NIB.

I got one from a co-worker that just couldn't live without a Glock.  $220.00 with several hundred rounds of .38 special and .357 mag.

You did great OP. I bought a 6 inch model a couple of months ago and like the trigger better than my 625 S&W.

Lose the Hogue bullshit on the back end.  Get the Ruger grips.  Great revolvers, should last forever and shoot well.  All of mine do, just hate the Hogue grips.  Too bulky.

I want that revolver. Here is mine:

Not too bad, I guess... I remember getting mine new for $430... but that was a decade ago!  Wish I'd kept it... it was built like a brick shithouse!

Love the gun, don't like those fat Hogue grips, though.  Mine came with those rubber and rosewood paneled grips, didn't like those either.  I put Pachmayrs on mine.  In fact, I put Pachmayrs on all my Ruger wheelguns except the newish Single Ten.
