How well do rubberized scopes take to being painted with Krylon?
Is there going to be flaking or is it going to degrade the rubber in any way?
It would be nice to know before I screw up an expensive scope.

I think you will find that it will crack and peel. They do have that new paint for plastic, maybe there is something out there for rubber. The best thing one can do to rubber is dye it or paint it with alot of flexing agent.
