Like every time I take a step - especially when I'm going up and down stairs.
Been going on for about 2 or 3 weeks & it's driving me nuts. I thought taking a break from bjj would make it clear up, but no. Would some kind of a brace help me here? (And if so, what should I look for?) I'm on vacation now and I'm seriously thinking about talking to a doctor when I get back. Any thoughts on what I should do? |

It's better on squats because the knee sleeves cover the sound and it's not distracting that way. |

My left knee pops sometimes when squatting deep. So I now go to just parallel and it doesn't pop. I've never had any pain though and it only happens during this select activity.
Since yours happens all the time, even while just walking, you should get it checked out by a doc. I wouldn't just go with your family care doc or general practitioner. Ask about a consult with ortho. If you work out a lot consider going to a sports medicine specialist who will better understand your activities and training. |

If there's no pain, probably not a huge deal. Stretch more and maybe foam roll your quads, hams and glutes to see if it will fix whatever imbalances you might have. If it hurts, then go see a doc. The only pain is soreness at the end of the day, especially when I've been on my feet all day. |

My knees pop a lot, but never any soreness, once I get them lubed up for the day they pretty much stay pop free until I rest a bit.
Are you taking any supplements with your vitamins? Fish oil, MSM, Glucosamine or anything like that? If I stop taking fish oil for a week or so my shoulder starts to get sore, I think it contributes to keeping the joints working right. |

Shoot, I don't even take vitamins. Though as I've been tracking my diet better this past year Ive been thinking about starting. |
