I have posted a few pics in other threads, but as of today the car is done except, wheels and interior. So I thought I would post a pic.

It made 354hp and 370flbs torque at the wheels today.

Ask him how many more parts are EVO than just the wheels.

Looks great buddy.

I'm guessing it's not a 350 SBC?

Almost everyone who has seen it so far knows me, and I straightened them out years ago with my 41 ford pick-up with a turbo mitsubishi 4cyl.

It is an 2006 Evo that we cut the body off and replaced it with this body.

I have had about four people tell me they like the Evo wheels better than what I am putting on it.

I'm genuinely curious

How in the world do you mate a fiberglass body to to the bare flooorpan of a unibody car and yet maintain anything resembling structural integrity?

I'm guessing a tube space frame of some sort.

If you only knee how many retarded corrections iPhone spellcheck tried to make in the above sentences :(

A lot of welding and a roll cage.
There is a new bonding material out to "glue" the glass to the steel, we did that to seal it up and add support, but only after making "body mounts" and bolting it together.

Tell me more? This sacred knowledge of which you speak sounds like it could be of great value to us within the Jeep clan.

3m Automix or Fusor bonding adhesive, works pretty good for patch panels and mating different material.  Don't get it on you unless you want to wear it awhile.
