humaneventsonline.com.edgesuite.net/never_forget.html Haven't been able to get it to load yet at work... so no commentary yet |

its great TRANSCRIPT, "Never Forget" Mary Jane McManus: Three months after we were married, my husband was shot down over Hanoi. Phyllis Galanti: Paul and I were married in 1963. Two years later he was shot down over North Vietnam. MCMANUS: All of the prisoners of war in North Vietnam were tortured in order to obtain confessions of atrocities. Galanti: On the other hand, John Kerry came home and accused all Vietnam veterans of unspeakable horrors. McManus: John Kerry gave aide and comfort to the enemy by advocating their negotiating points to our government. Galanti: Why is it relevant? Because John Kerry is asking us to trust him. McManus: I will never forget John Kerrys testimony. If we couldn?t trust John Kerry then, how could we possibly trust him now? |

Thats a devestating ad. Kerry is toast. ------------------------------ freemarketeconomy.blogspot.com/ |
That link worked for me, thanks. What a powerful message from the wifes! |
|
The ad is great, but lets not forget that it will take a mass republican voter turnout on Nov 2 to ensure sKerry's demise. It ain't in the bag yet. All this talk of him going down is going to put some in a false sense of security. We can't rest now. We must encourage everyone to actually vote on Nov 2 archer2 |
| I haven't seen the ad yet. I did read the transcript provided in this thread. I was not particularly moved by it. Not because I am heartless or unsympethetic towards those fine women or the brave men who fought and suffered in Vietnam, but because my level of hate for that sack of dysinteric monkey shit is so high that I have no room for more. |
+1 Truer words were never spoken........ |
Well then the ad wasn't aimed at you was it my friend?
|
Waxing poetic, thats why I love the arfcom. |
Good--a little hatred is a good thing. ![]() A LOT is better.

I honestly don't believe it will have that big of an impact. People now adays have become desensitized to the pain of another, expecially in light of the fact that we are at war right now and see grieving families almost everyday. Sadyly this ad may also simply be written off by many as something that happened a long time ago and holds no relevence now. Digital |
You sir are wrong... it was mentioned on I believe Hannity and Colmes last night that a study was done and the ONLY 527 ads making a difference and impacting voters have been the SBVFT... This WILL make a difference. There past couple ads I agree have been week... but their first and latest have been devastating. |
but it is a GREAT add |
As HiramRanger says, "You sir are wrong...". My wife just looked over my shoulder, asked me to play it again, and went down the hall in the most major rant I've seen in 7 years. She was literally shrieking unprintable stuff about that asswipe and she's usually a Dem too (but not this election). |

Great ad! I think probably 85-90% of voters already "know" who they plan on voting for...the ones saying they are undecided are mostly full of shit. Those who will vote for Kerry are doing so because they hate Bush...pure and simple. On the other hand, I DO think Kerry's support can still be eroded further, just not from the "Anybody but Bush" crowd, and ads like this will do the trick if anything can. What a lame-assed piece of human excrement!
