AAAARRRRGGGG!!!!!
I applied to build a 300BLK SBR on eforms last November. I just received a response that it was denied! On the form 1 where you input your full name (3b) I put my full name, not the name of the trust. I thought I could just go in and correct it-NO!
I called ATF and was told unlike the paper forms, eforms cannot be amended, I needed to start the whole process over! Eforms is down and it'll be another 11 months.
My cans should be released in the next few weeks.
Help-has anyone run into this and found a fix??

You can only amend eForms while they are in draft status. You need to cancel your current eForm 1 and do a paper Form 1.

Don't fuck up this time.

There is no way to "FIX" and e-form.  I know, it sucks,  Best to just fill out the hard copy application and find something to occupy yourself while you wait.  One good thing is I'm seeing hard copy paper forms getting approved in about 9 months.

Does anyone know, maybe someone industry related, know when the eForm system is going to be back up? The eForm system going down really killed me.

Maybe someone here can answer this for me.

I already have a stamp, in my name, for my SBR. I'm considering forming a trust. What would I need to do to transfer my existing stamp into a trust?

Total due over since your transferring it to another "person".  Plus didn't you engrave it?

There is no quick fix.  You must resubmit.

I did; good point. I hadn't even considered that. I was/am considering a trust for future purchases, due to shorter times w/e-forms. Or so I was led to believe.

It was my first time. It's as bad a a damned tax form.
I'll be looking into picking up a pistol buffer in the mean time.
My SOT dealer filled the out ones for the cans.

You just file a form four from you personally to your trust.  Very simple.

How much did he ask for to prepare the paperwork for the Form 1?

I spoke with one lady in the VA ATF Friday and she said it's spotty, some people are actually able to submit. She told me she had no idea when it will be corrected.

Depends on what you mean by "back up".  The Efile system is back online now, you just can't do any new applications other than for the 2 forms they have active for use right now.  I asked one of the NFA branch guys on Monday when Form 1's would be back up  to refile one I had disapproved and was told he had no idea.  He got the same email notice as us that was sent out on April 17th and that was all he knew.

Yep. No more engraving required. Only the maker is required to engrave

I don't believe that he did, it's been 7 months, since I purchased through him. Plus I purchased a bunch of stuff at once.
Contact David and ask.

Form 4 from you to your trust. You can fill it out yourself and don't need a C3 dealer to do it.

I see someone brought up engraving. I don't know how that relates to this situation. The rifle was manufactured under Birddog's name. Now it's being transferred to his trust. He doesn't need to engrave it again just because of a transfer.
