I was listening to a sports show on the way home, and they were harping on how poorly some athletes from 'football factories' did on the NFL's Wonderlic test. This is their aptitude test. Curious, I tried an online test and scored a lowly 18, which was much better than some of the first round candidates. How do you score? Dummy or No Dummy

So weird, my friends and I were just taking a sample test of this online right before I saw this thread

I scored 18 first time through taking it on my phone while taking a dump. Got 26 when I took it a second time while not on the throne.

The page loaded so slow that I probably lost 2-4 minutes overall just waiting for it to load the next question. I obviously didn't finish.

Page loading definitely seems to hurt if you don't have a fast connection

From when I pushed the next button to when the page loaded I lost 5+ seconds each time.

31, which is slightly lower then when I took it as a kid when playing football.

BTW these questions seemed slightly harder than the ones originally, or it could be that I'm a lot dumber now. Head injuries are bad I guess

I only answered 36 with 34 correct. I lost at least 3 minutes total, I averaged 20 seconds per question answered so I should have gotten a shot at about 9 more questions. Assuming my rate of correct responses was the same I'd have scored another 8 points.

Actually it would be more like 15 seconds per question with the lost time, so I'd get about 12 more questions and 11 more points, give or take a couple.

I got 31 but ran out of time after 40 questions while the pages loaded. If I had it on paper in front of me and could write on it, I'm sure I could finish in time and probably get to at least 40.

ETA: A guy in the 2012 draft got a 4.

50 questions in 12 minutes. If it looks like it will take longer than a few seconds just skip it, the majority are super easy. Would be easier on paper than the computer so you could go back and do the stupid block ones and the not immediately obvious math questions.

I had to take it on paper for a job interview. There was a dude in there watching me too. I was so annoyed. They didn't tell me the score. What any of that has to do with software I don't know but it must have been good enough because I went on to the next round. Then they started in on Microsoft-style brain teasers at which point I started asking actual job related questions instead of answering theirs and that was the end of it. Didn't get the job. Glad I didn't get the job.
