That is what my stepdaughter's wonderful BF Say's will fix our problems ...BF is an Obama voter, person of....other race than mine ....
Spit the US in half...Republican States and Dem. states.....Didn't we try that before??

Actually, I think that would be a wise thing at this point.
It's very clear that half of this country wishes to continue as a Constiutional Republic while the other half would like to be a direct Democracy. I say, go do your thing and we'll do ours. No need for war and conflict and in fact I'm sure we could even work out a free trade agreement and even allow for travel without passport. A military alliance could even be maintained, but we leave eachother to govern our own ways. |

I'm actually all for this and think it would be an amazing political experiment. For arguments sake lets say you split the country into two new nations, one side for left and the other for the right. I think it would be interesting to see which one has the highest crime rates, which as the best economy, the best military defense forces, and all around general quality of life. It would be interesting to see who flocks from which side first and which one gets invaded by a foreign country first. Of course after the one side fails it will then be time to reunite the two sides and start over. |

but seriously i would welcome if nothing else an increased emphasis on states' rights. texas can promote the homosexual agenda in its own way and on its own dime. |

| My theory was that we should invite the Mexicans to move to the States, then build the wall and make Mexico the Constitutional States of America. We'd have gold, oil, two seacoasts, and amazing tourism. It doesn't have to be a hellhole--in the same way the Israelis made the desert bloom, conseervatives could make Mexico a paradise. Same problem--liberals would seek to ruin it. I don't know how you can overcome that without destroying the liberties you'd seek to maintain. The liberals have so far taken more than 200 years to destroy our Constitution, but they're winning. They WANT to win; I'm not sure we do anymore. |
