For all the ladies that have been following my shooting increase and giving me advice on it, I would like to let you all know that I went shooting for my second time yesterday. Afplayboy and I went to the NRA range with some fellow arfcom members. One of the members (I don't remember who  ) brought a .22 rifle and a 9mm for me to shoot. I shot the 9mm first and after that, I was a little too shaken up to shoot the rifle. I shot 30 rounds of the 9mm and according to afplayboy, the guy that brought the gun told his buddy that I was a natural. Hehehe  Wow...me...a natural. That's so cool! Just wanted to let you all know about it. I really feel like I'm getting a lot more comfortable with the whole shooting thing. Thank you to all of yall that have been helping me become more comfortable. |
I really hope so...I want to be really comfie with everything and I'm working really hard at it. I'm learning a lot and loving it.

Haha!! *dancing around* I'm a natural! LoL!! I liked the 9mm a lot better than the .38 special...but it was still a little much for me. I really want to shoot the .22. I should have shot the rifle when we were there but after the 9mm, I was just a little too nervous. I kind of regret it now. |
You went to the NRA range without me?  Hubby's work buddy goes up there most Thursday nights and we really need to meet him up there again soon. There's a Ruger GP100 .357 that I've been meaning to try for over a month. It's so pretty.  Big...and purty. Looks like this:

Awww!! I'm sorry. I guess we'll just have to make a trip out there sometime now won't we?

When the Ruger GP100s were first introduced, they probably had the most comfortable original factory grips of any gun manufacture. I've shot my nieghbor's GP100 extensively, and it is a comfortable shooting gun. |
