How many of you wear them? I wore one almost the entire time I was working at the PD and never gave it much thought. Always wore it between my vest and uniform shirt. Now almost a year since I transfered into train service, I have just continued to wear it every day. On my way home this afternoon I began to wonder how safe it was. I mean if I get into an accident whats the chance of my airbag driving that knife through the 1/8" kydex and into my heart? Not so sure I should wear it anymore. Any thoughts? |

unless it is turned point in i don't think it would be a problem. most knives i have seen are made to rest flat side against your skin. It might leave a nasty bruise but the chances of it becoming unsheathed and driven theough your sternum would be pretty remote. mike |
