This upcoming weekend one of my long time friends is turning 21. He is having a party at his house and there is going to be alot of people drinking and shooting (he lives in B.F.E.). Now to make a long story short, i was friends with a group of about 8 guys and some shit went really sour last year. I no longer assoc. with about 4 of them due to the past infidelities. But there are a few dudes i would really like to see. Now the problem here is i think the 3-4 guys that are supposedly going to be attending are going to try and start some trouble. They are all a bunch of talkers and they proly wont do anything but still... Do you all think i should make a breif apperance or not? Dan and Brett are really good friends i have had for about 5 years, times changed but i still wanna see them say hey and tell Dan Happy B-Day! i REALLY don't want any drama but Im concerned because the dudes i dislike may be armed while shooting and you all know how drunk fools get with beer muscles and guns. I have no plans of fighting, talking smak, or getting into any conflicts with anyone. But if they back me into a corner, my 1911 will have the last words rest assured. J |

#1 - Don't ask for advice on the internet. #2 - Stay away from any place that has drunk people shooting, whether they are your friends or not. #3 - If you have to ask whether it is a good idea to show up at a house where you will definately come across drunken gun toting enemies good luck surviving to 30. |

He would find a better place to party. |

Quoted: Quoted: Ah Youth! That's exactly what I was thinking! HE said...and then she said...and then they did this.. Lol Sgtar15 HAHAHA, no. My maturity level is not in question here. Im very mature but thank you for the stereotype. Assure that the tension is rooted far deeper than words... Women. I have read the replies and ya'll are right, im not going. I wish like hell i could say hey to my H.S. pals, but i don't want any problems or drama with the others. Sux but thats life. TY for the advise. Sometimes desicions are harder for people when emotions and b.s. are involved. J |

No I actually don't know what it's like to be around drunks and guns. I will have to bow to your experience in that arena. I would suggest you stay away and throw your friend another pary where there is either drinking or shooting, I would choose shooting. As for the womenz any womenz that would choose your ex drunken friends over you are not worth having, the only prize they won was the boobie prize. I suggest you join a responsible shooting hobby club and meet a new class of people. |

I have no plans of fighting, talking smak, or getting into any conflicts with anyone. But if they back me into a corner, my 1911 will have the last words rest assured. This is the most important part of your story. Others have already answered your question correctly: Don't go. But just a little advice... Here, on this public forum, you have made a statement that "my 1911 will have the last words rest assured". This is called by DA's, "premeditation". It means that you have already decided to use deadly force and have then decided to go to this location where the other guys are located. If you should go, and should shoot someone, rest assured that this will be used as evidence that you provoked a fight that you knew was possible by going there with a firearm, and had made public statements that "my 1911 will have the last words". Stay away, and don't post things like this in public forums. Ah youth, indeed. |
