I recently replaced my desktop that I use for my small business.  The machine has a 60GB SSD as the main boot drive, as well as a 1TB drive for pics, videos, etc.  When trying to load software for antivirus and various other utilities, the option isn't given for which drive I want to install on.  The boot drive has about 1GB of space left and I still have programs I need to load, but it wont let me because of not enough disk space on the boot drive. The programs I have loaded so far automatically went onto the smaller drive without giving me the option of selecting where I want it to go.
Is there a setting on Windows 7 that allows you to select what drive is the target priority for installs?  Or, since the Windows software is loaded onto the smaller boot drive, is this just what you have to deal with?

When you install the programs there should be an option for a custom installation. That will allow you to choose the larger drive.

Neither Dropbox or Google drive have the option for custom install.  None that I can see anyway.

When you download the .exe, download it to the drive you want to install it to, or change your download folder to that drive, or just copy it over.  Install it from that drive, and it might stay on that drive.

Does it work like that?

I bought Office and Visio Pro from MS HUP and neither lets you choose the install location.  Fortunately, you can download an ISO of an installer disc that does...and the same key works with it.  Let me know if either one of those is an issue and I will point you toward the disc.  No piracy here.  You'll need a valid 2013 key for them to work.

Do you mean the icon on the install dialog box that pops up?
