My watch has stopped. Looking for something under $100. Anybody happy with what they have in this price range?

I had one similar to this that I really liked. Sadly, I dropped it and broke the face. Not sure how much it costs.

I always thought so too, but some of the new variations are much nicer looking. It's just a personal thing, but i can't stand a plastic watch. I sa a nice one on Chronoshark a while back, it's about due to make another appearance. I might pick it up since I busted the crystal on my daily work watch, a Bullova Caravelle chrono. I was asking for trouble, doing QC work for precast concrete with it on.

Traser P6500 I have kicked the crap out of mine. LA police gear had a decent price or check ebay.  It's nice to have the tritium when its pitch black.  Works great for diving.

Spend a little more cheese, and get a Citizen Eco-Drive.  They pop up on Chronoshark.com all the time.  I got one for $144, shipped.

I've ordered a few Invictas off of Chrono Shark that have no right at all being as nice as they are for what I paid for them.

(Never more than $90... including shipping.)

For $25 you can get a timex ironman 30-lap that stands a pretty good chance of lasting long enough for you to get sick of looking at it.  They're what I wear when I don't want my better daily watches stolen or broken.  If I didn't care about watches in general, they're what I'd wear all the time.

For dirt cheap, and dead balls reliable... it's tough to beat a Timex.

I think it all depends on what you want your watch to do.  I've got a Citizen quartz (non-Eco-Drive) with a stainless steel band.  All it does is measure time, but it does that really well.  It's got day and date windows, and the battery seems to last forever.

G shock. If you need a dressier watch you can find a Wenger (the other Swiss Army knife company) for under a $ 100. They work fine and look okay for dress wear.
