My home computer running XP used to have no problems downloading files from the internet. Recently, when I try to download a file, as it's "downloading", it says "File size unknown" and the percentage downloaded bar will go up to 60 or 70% and then jump back down to 30 or 40% and start over, repeating this cycle over and over again with nothing downloading. I also recently ran a "speed test" on this machine and the download speed came back as 0. Several people use this computer and I just wonder if someone changed a setting or something. |
Recheck your settings, your not getting any pipeline (bandwidth). Check TCP/IP settings Ect... |
