| Yes I am soldering with them, I carry a rag with me to wipe the molten solder off, I would prefer something with a solid back to them so the molten solder wouldn't land on the back of my hand and burn the piss out of me, I'm gettin better at it so it doesn't happen as much anymore, but the other problem is dealing with copper all day really stains my hands |

Another vote for the Mechanix brand gloves...the downside is that they are pretty expensive. I probably have half a dozen pairs around here, some in the outbuilding, 2 pairs in the garage, a pair in the truck, etc. ETA; I don't have any stock in this company, but with as many pairs of their gloves as I've bought maybe I should have.
