I had originally decided to go with a .458 SOCOM upper to eventually get suppressed.  But price (overall, including ammo and reloading costs) made me decide to consider others.  The .300 whisper looked great, but was even more expensive.  So I've decided to perhaps choose the .45 ACP upper.  Ammo is cheap, cartridge should do the trick (I want a large game-killing round that out to 150 yards is effective and quick killing with good knockdown, and can be easily suppressed).

So, who makes the best one (Oly Arms, Kurts Kustom, etc.?) and where can I get high-cap .45 cal UZI mags?

Any other opinions or arguments for me to change my decision graciously considered. :)

I welcome rebuttal, but I don't think that .45 ACP is going to give you the large game killing power you seek at 150 yards, especially with cheap factory ammo (which is, invariably, 230 grain ball).
