A little while ago there was a thread where people were using crayons to color the roll makrs and other markings on their AR's. I have looked but could not find it. Could someone please tell me where I can find that thread?

Thanks,

Mike

Not sure about the thread, but i used to use crayons to color in the logo on my Springfield XD.  I used white, red, and then white again...  It stayed fairly well, I just wanted a different color, which is why crayons have the advantage

Someone said what to use to clean the rifle with before getting started & what to use to clean up the crayon that got where you don't want it.

I did the crayon coloring thing on a Bushmaster I used to own.

Just rub the crayon back and forth over the area you want filled in.

Then I used Hoppes or rubbing alcohol (can't remember which right now) to remove the crayon on the side of the receiver.

So easy, even a cav......, ehh, you get the idea, this is not rocket science here.
