I want to remove my watch band from a FOSSIL watch, to replace it with a new band. I am pretty sure the pins are threaded.
I took it to a watch repair shop and it looks like he tried to hammer them out and totally fucked the ends of both pins (what was going to cost me $7 for a simple pin removal, ended up costing him $50 just to get me leave, but thats a story for another time.  )
So what are my options? Drill them out and try to find cotter pins that will fit? Anyone familar with FOSSIL watches? This is my watch |

The pins in a Fossil watch are not threaded. It takes alittle tool to tap them out. These are the pins that hold each link together.
Now if you are trying to change out the bands. There are two pins at the top that called spring bars. They look like this and come in a BUNCH of different sizes
