| So I'm heading back to Iowa from Alabama. I'm within 3 hours of home but after mistakenly putting all my faith in mapquest I took a long route. Besides music and caffeine, I want nothing more than alcohol and to shoot things. I finally have a phone that can access arfcom, I need entertained before I pull over buy a 12 pack and start shooting blades of grass |

I took 61 thru Hannibal and am going thru Mount Pleasant to 80. Rather than take 218 and hit 34 in Mt Pleasant it had me going through Fort Madison and picking up 34 in Burlington. Fuck And to answer the question, ipod on shuffle. Crazy how you can start shuffle over 3 times and out of the 1500 songs I have it plays the same ones |

I've driven the route to Mount Pleasant many times, way back before the road was improved and the bridge was a privately owned toll bridge. Now you know why I don't use directions from the internet. I've flown all over the US using a compass, clock, and a map. Plus my brain and eyeballs. I use maps on the road; I'll be the one that determines the route. I use a compass at night or when the sun is too obscured to figure out which direction lies South. Year before last I was going to a wedding just South of Chattanooga. The internetz insisted the town where I was headed is located Northeast of Atlanta. Not cool. |
