I am a poor college student and as such I must plan my gun purchases well. I just ended the semester and if finals go well I may get me a Remington Home Def. 870 from the gunshop where I work. The question is, what do I do after that? I am looking at 5 things 1-- A Howa 1500 in 308. I have no scoped rifle. It can share ammo with my FAL. 2-- A M-1903A3 from the CMP. Cuz they are cool and would go well with my Garands 3--A Romanian FPK to fill the scoped rifle niche, an share ammon with my M44 4--A suppressor for my P22.  5--Save for the FS2000. Cause its freakin cool. I have most other needs filled besides a Tactical shotgun and a scoped rifle. I get to go work this spring, so I will have more Income than now. So maybe two or three are possible, but I can convince myself back and forth on waht I should get. |
Ok, true. Lemme clarify. I guess I am not poor. Being in college with only partime work leaves me poorer than I was before I went to school. I can afford guns, I just have to space them out and save heavily for anything over $400 or so. Many college students spend their time partying, buying computer stuff and working on cars or what ever. My hobby is guns. That is it. I drive a pickup truck. I dont have an awesome stereo. I dont drink or eat out. I dont mind not having those things to have the ability to get guns. Shooting and working on guns is one of the most relaxing things I can do. So I retract my statement about being a "poor college student." I am a low income student. But I get by. |
