Does anyone have a link that will show me how to remove the flash supressor from my AR?  Thanks!

use a wrench - lefty-loosey

(Unless you are talking about a permanently attached flash hider - then you need a grinder (or some other tools - depending on how it is attached) and will have to destory the flash hider.)

It's a standard flash supressor, just like an M16.  It's on my Oly 16 incher.  Just screws off?

It should - when it was attached, it was probably screwed on pretty tight against the washer (either peel or crush washer) that is between it and the barrel - but it should come right off and be easily unscrewable by hand once it's been loosend the first turn or so with a regular wrench.

Be careful if you use a crescent wrench. The chrome on the wrench is harder than the FH and will bugger it up...

Is there any way to do this without a vice?  And thanks!

Could you be more vague?  I am sure it wouldn't help.

What's so vague about it? He wants a link to proper removal of an AR flash supressor. Ray

Depends on how tight it is torqued. Be careful or you can crack an upper.
