I've got one of these on the way.
Attached File If you haven't used a Nepros ratchet, you should treat yourself someday. I am at a point in my life that I want to enjoy my tools. These ratchets are really beautiful. So smooth. Perfect chrome. Low back drag. I've almost got my full set of Koken nut grip sockets once the semi deep set arrives. They pair perfectly with the Nepros ratchet. Nepros NBR290L I think video gives a better impression of how well made they are. https://youtu.be/fVmsyyn9NGw?si=KxSpPfTsZNwfavYF Nepros vs Ko-ken Zeal ???? I get a kick out of these threads you create where you talk up a product you haven't even received yet.
You call it a work of art, but its still in the mail? Its like reading amazon reviews. 5 stars. I haven't used it yet, but definitely 5 stars. I'd give 6 if I could. |

It's a ratchet. You use it to turn bolts and nuts. Then it gets tossed in a tool box. I've been using US made Craftsman ratchets for the past 24 or so years. Never had an issue and they get the job done.
I don't need a work of art to take stuff apart or put stuff together. I need a tool. |

If they are so awesome how have I never heard of them?

I'm big into the Tekton side of tools. I've been using their stuff for probably a decade now to work on big vehicles. They've never let me down.
I bet these are going to be superb and better than the Tektons are. |

Does it mean that you are brave enough? |

I think I'll stick with my Snap-On TM75A, which I think I bought new off the truck, in 1989-90.
I bought it originally to be a Hi-Lok ratchet... the Snap-On driver gave me an extra gear head, which our company machine shop took and bored a hole through the middle with EDM. Served me well, until I went all-in on a roller (one-way) ratchet. That said, it's nice to see that a company stepped up to provide a decent fine-toothed ratchet(s). If I was still wrenching professionally, I'd take a serious look at buying one |

View Quote That's true but the feel, ratcheting mechanism, and minutia that make the Tekton and Nepros better than the old craftsman. I have multiple old craftsman sets that were given to me by my dad. They're great sets but fall short of the Tekton and Nepros. |

I still have lots of mediocre tools. I just try to avoid using them. Lol. I have tool sets in 3 different areas of my garage and shop. I still have a crappy 36 tooth long pattern Craftsman in my fabrication shop, right next to a round head fine tooth Craftsman. They work but I don't enjoy using them. |

Old low tooth count ratchets are fine for a lot of things but if you gotta do things like take the turbo off an obs 7.3 then stuff like this can make a drastic difference.
