I've seen a bunch of movies throughout my years (40+, but not too much of the +). I definitely tend towards action/adventure and Sci-Fi/Fantasy types, and comedies. Recently got the Wild Geese...been a long time, but a good flick. I need to bulk up the Queue as I'm down to 4 movies.... And remember...Gratuitous Nudity and Violence can REALLY make a movie... Anyone? |
| Zombie Strippers comes out the 28th. Just watched Guns at Batasi, not too bad for an old movie. The lost Patrol is another old one worth seeing. Ran is a classic if you like Shakespeare. Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry doesn't get shown much. Cockfighter and Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia are good Warren Oates flicks. The Lone Wolf and Baby Cart films are not bad. Southern Comfort and Extreme Prejudice are pretty good Powers Boothe flicks. Good shootout at the end of Extreme Prejudices. |

Zombie Strippers is a decent flick. Sleuth, the remake with Jude Law and Micheal Kane is very good. Twilight, starring Paul Newman features Susan Surandon and Reese Witherspoon topless. Equilibrium is a must if you've never seen it. He Was a Quiet Man, starring Christian Slater was pretty good. |

i have another question about netflix...we've had them for about 3 months now. initially, when we would mail a movie back, the next movie in our cue would be back on the 2nd business day. lately, the lag time has gotten longer and longer. i mailed two movies back last monday, and the replacements didn't show up until friday. i could understand an occasional delay, but it has been consistent for the last month or so. didn't they have a class action law suit against them some time back for this kind of crap? -matt |

The Boys of Company C is a recent release that you might like. |
Excellent movie, wish I could find my copy. "Here's your body count Captain. Three chickens and a duck!" |
sorry to interrupt again...doesn't this contradict the whole "all the dvd's you want, never a late fee" tag line? now back to your regular programing. -matt |

I'm on the 5th season of Combat! They had like 32 episodes per season...and they are ALL great!!! Netflix has them all. I believe they also have all the Rat Patrol and 12 O'clock High series too. That ought to keep you busy for a year or so. Gratuitous violence and gun prOn......works for me! |
It's also happening to me. I think they slow you down if you start selecting newer movies or something. |
