Going to be at Shot show 2023. Not to bad looking really.
HI-POINT JXP 10mm | ALL NEW Magnum Caliber Pistol |

That is awful looking. Like a Desert Eagle had sex with a Hi-Point.
|
|
My limited experience with Hi point has been, if it works, it just keeps going. I would be interested in seeing a long term video. Not a torture test like 1000 rounds in an hour kind of thing but over the course of a few months or weeks. Hopefully the range will up load some vids later.

I absolutely love the HiPoint carbine in 10x25mm.
I'll likely buy the first one I see in person after handling it a bit. Probably uses the same mags. |
|
If someone made 30-round mags for the carbine, I would be sorely tempted.

That fucking stupid intro music. Why must every "dude" video have that retarded shit?

Quoted: Are they incapable of designing a pistol without hair dryer sized dimensions? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Compared to others, yes, it is awful looking, but for a Hi Point, not to bad looking. It's direct blowback. That takes a good deal of mass - which takes quite the volume when you use lower density alloys to keep manufacturing and materials costs way down. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Compared to others, yes, it is awful looking, but for a Hi Point, not to bad looking. Well, their pistols are all direct blowback - they don't lock up like Browning designs. They depend on the mass of the slide to hold them closed until the pressure is low enough that the breech can open without suffering a case rupture. |

You got my hopes up the carbine had dropped in price. I still want the 10mm carbine and have a Hitower bullpup stock for it.

Already invested in the Glock 10mm platform but good for Hi-point coming out with new models.

Hi Point makes affordable guns that are pretty damn reliable by most accounts. I hope they sell a shit ton

Quoted: My thoughts exactly. I’ve never even considered buying a HP but I actually considered it for a few seconds. I’m a 10mm junkie! I’ve never even considered buying a HP but I actually considered it for a few seconds. I’m a 10mm junkie! Yup. This thing is not to be compared with other offerings. It is what it is. A cheap 10mm. I don’t think Hi Points are made for people who put thousands & thousands of rounds through their pistols every year. This thing will help many folks get into the 10mm game cheap, and that is a good thing. |

Quoted: So now the thuglets will start using suppressors. View Quote Hipoints in the hood are so ten years ago. Most I've seen in crime videos are running happy switch/happy sticked G19s. Hell, someone posted a video of a graduating class in Chicago and five or so were CCing them at the ceremony. |

One of my first pistols was the basic 9mm hi point. I already had the carbine to go with it. They all always worked for me. Had a horrible trigger pull/ feel but was accurate and never failed. I put several hundred rounds through both the carbine and pistol. I eventually sold/ traded them off (a long time ago) because I didn't use them much.
I kind of want to get another one now 10mm looks very interesting but I don't have much interest in adding another caliber to my line up. |
