Thinking about selling the dirt bikes next year and acquiring a nice pedalling machine. Leaning towards a Propain Hugene trail bike at this stage. Anybody here ridden one? Attached File |

Get both. I'm buying a Suzuki DR650 dual sport as soon as someone snatches up my Super Yoter LRF thermal, and I've been on the lookout for a deal on an Orbea Laufey hardtail MTB. Hoping I can find one at a good discount over the winter here. What kind of riding do you plan on doing with that full suspension? What is your prior experience with bikes? Full suspension can be appealing to new riders, but there are a lot of drawbacks that make it a not-so-good choice for a daily rig (for the vast majority of folks anyway). But you could be a serious downhill MTB animal for all I know... |

I have a couple friends that ride Propain. One has a Tyee and the other has a sresh sl. Both are solid bikes. My trail bike is a gen7 Trek Fuel ex. I dont think you can buy a bad bike these days. They're just amazing right now and prices have cooled somewhat. I'm primarily riding a 22 SJ Evo alloy and a 21 Enduro 29. Mullet links in both now full time, but I'll often run full 29 still. The SJ Evo has a 3 way adjustable headtube and a high/low flip chip in the stay. Super versatile. I'd ride the begeezus out of that Propain or that new Fuel. Get one. |
