I just got a Motorola W315 cell phone. It comes with a mini-UBS port and I've connected it to my PC. However, when I do, the PC can't find any software to run with it nor did the cell phone come with any software of a CD disk. The user manual only says you can connect it to a PC, but no directions or what to do when so doing. Anybody have suggestions or help? Thanks, Merlin |
Go to the Motorola website. $29.00. What a rip, should come with the phone or have the software embedded in it. |

Look for and download the "Curitel phone drivers" (they're at a phone forum you have to sign up on, but it's all free, phonemall.net or something).... ---I'm not sure what ones it doesn't work with, but it lets you use most cellphones as a mobile modem for a laptop or palmtop. Slowly...~14K/sec... but that's a lot faster than nothing. ~ |
