Just got a new computer and want to know the following:

Any way to easily move files from the old computer to the new one easily? (Don't have a transfer cable)

If I want to continue to use the old computer, how do i set up a network (cable internet)

Use a USB pen drive or external USB hard drive. If you don't have one, see if you can borrow a friends. Next level up is hooking up the old hard drive to the new computer and copying the data over. I've never liked using those transfer cables.

To share the internet, you'd need to get a router. Something like a Linksys or D-Link 4-5 port router. If you need wireless, get a wireless model.
