KLR is very simple and very tough. About the biggest recommendation is to change out the welded counter-balancer for a solid aftermarket unit (Change out can be done with simple tools in any yard / garage in about an hour or so!) Some KLRs had issues with the weight fracturing off the arm. Most never had trouble, but it only takes one to make the rumor rounds start flying. change it and after that your looking at tires, brakepads, gas and oil changes pretty much... BIGGER_HAMMER ![]() Edited to Add - My KLR has got to be the fastest because it is BOTH Red AND Black!!! |
Bad idea if you're riding the street. Hard to see. If you are going to do that I would advise you to get HIGH visibility gear. Just my $.02. Btw what are they asking for it and what is the miles/condition? |
