Not sure who here drinks diet sodas or if anyone drinks Pepsi One but just thought I'd pass a bit of information along. Pepsi has reformulated Pepsi One and it tastes really good now. Basically switched from Aspartame to Splenda and it certainly makes a difference. I've always thought Pepsi One had a stale aftertaste. That is gone now. I think there was a bit of flavoring tweaking also as it doesn't have a sort of strong molasis taste anymore, IMO. I really don't drink alot of soda but when I do I usually preferred Diet Pepsi but after tasting the new Pepsi One I have to say it is a little better tasting then regular Diet Pepsi. And I'm not just saying this because I happen to work for Pepsi or just happen to own some Pepsi stock |
Reimberse you up to $1 - Yes! Clean up puke - NO!
Since it just a reformulation it would be more like Pepsi 1.5 |
But to buy a 20 oz bottle of pepsi is $1.48 around here. I wouldn't offer to clean it up either..

There will be a reformulated Diet Coke with Splenda in the next couple of months. This would have happen sooner but Splenda usage expanded at a rate that out paced supply. Splenda passed Aspartame and became the number one artificial sweetener early last year and the Splenda factory hit capacity so there was a shortage. Second factory going online so look to see many more Splenda products. |
Actually wouldn't that be more like Pepsi 1A |
Have her try the new 7-UP Plus women seem to love it. It is made with Splenda and has 2% fruit juice. A couple of calories a glass but tasty. |
Yes Pepsi One is now made with Splenda as are all Dite-Rite products. Pepsi Edge is still aound. |

We make our sweet tea at home with Splenda now instead of sugar. Doesn't taste exactly the same, but it's still good. My only complaint is that the Splenda in the big bulk bags must have filler or something in with it to make it measure like sugar volume-wise, because it takes a cup of that stuff to sweeten a gallon of tea, but it only takes about 30 little packets to do it, which barely covers the bottom of the pitcher. I wish they sold what's in the packets in bulk. It would save so much pantry space. |
in a bad way. However it is an improvment though. It's the only artifical sweetener that I can actually keep down and not
