As many of you know we have had instances of trolling Facebook pages organized from this site over the last several months. We don't care who's page it is, and we don't care what their message is. There will be no coordinated attacks originating from here. Voting threads and the like are still OK though. Those who disregard this rule risk losing their accounts here. ETA: This rule applies to all social networking sites. ETA2: This rule only applies to things posted on this website. In case this wasn't clear. |

Understood. Just curious what the reason or incident behind this is? I'm going to guess that someone got a group of guys to shit on someine's fb page and they got butt hurt. combine that with the fresh legal rulng about fb.....and you can see why this would make them shudder. fb never works out on our favor, and it never will. hell, I'd be ok if being in arfcom required one to terminate their fb account, or at least have the privacy settings maxed so that it couldn't be seen by anyone but friends. EDITED: fixed spelling errors caused by using a tablet. |

May have something to do with people posting nasty pictures on CSGV's pages, in connecting to the Starbucks buycott. |

This stems from groups of people making troll accounts and hitting dead thugs pages, etc... Along with large number of racist post on those pages, lots of references to AR15.com have been made as well. Then we had some dumb-asses trolling a funeral websites memorial page, after it was linked here. |

We have closet 88's here, and we do NOT need them linked, however obliquely, to ARFCOM. |

Quoted: let me get this straight its still ok as long as it does not link back here? correct? that one had me in tears all weekend long I don't care what you post somewhere else. What you post here is what we're discussing. If you wish to go rampaging around FB, that is fine. Just don't come here and try to encourage others to follow you over the cliff. |

No way to link a random FB post with an ar15 user account, unless someone was dumb enough to reference their opposite handle. So only way is to disallow "hey guys go get this on FB" type posts here on ARFCOM. |

I agree that bringing unnecessary attention back to this site is in bad taste. It doesn't help the image of gun owners either. Everyone on here pretty much bitches about Sons of Guns and how bad it is for gun owners, then they turn around and do this Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Well this rule fucking sucks gigantic fucking ass. A couple of racist assholes ruin it for everyone, huh? I'm not usually one to get on here and rant about arfcom, but the biggest thing going for this site is that when arfcom gets it's shit together, it's a pro-RKBA force to be reckoned with. It's a shame to see that dying.
Like it or not, the new front in the war against liberals and their bullshit is on facebook. I'm sure Ladd Everitt and the rest of the pieces of shit on CSGV will be thrilled... |

Arfcom is the the hub of the Internet firearms community. Dummies are still going to name-drop this board, even if the "raid" didn't start here. Edit: Autocorrect. |
