There is nothing wrong with that. Just don't let the snow puddle as it melts.
Now if you really are worried about squeaky floors make sure the carpenters screw the floor down as well as nail and glue it. Also make sure all the bridging is installed properly before sheet rock goes up. If you are worried about the walls warping(usually a quarter inch is within acceptance as it can be corrected by drywall shims) run an 8' level across every stud(horizontally) and make sure they are within a quarter inch of each other. You may not notice it on the interior as it can be remedied by drywall shims but could show when siding goes up. Also maybe next time take a shovel and remove the snow instead of taking pics and posting it online. Its probably easier to just do that.... Gotta love first time home builders/buyers. Bless their hearts. |

I've been driving by this condo/apartment complex (several buildings) under construction for a few months now. OSB all over the exterior, unfinished roof, no tarps or plastic over anything, and it snows and rains.
There are STILL some parts of the buildings that don't have siding and windows to this day. I wouldn't want to live there. |
