All right would one of the computer geeks out there tell me how to stop the new "messenger service"  pop ups.   There use to be just one every once and a while....now they send 30-50 at one shot.     I am ready oto rip my hair out...



I left my computer on over the weekend by accident while I was at a wine tasting   ...I had to pull the plug on hte computer there was so many of them

Guys, thats not the kind of popups you're thinking of.
He's talking about the Messenger Service popup messages.
Not browser surfing popups.
Firefox, Opera, Mozilla,  etc don't take care of Messenger Service
popups. Totally different thing.

Follow the directions here:
