My shooting buddy is headed to Basic Training, leaving the wife and I alone with the dogs. I'm taking a week of leave, but I still don't know how well the wife is going to handle it. Any thoughts?

Kid moved out, went off to school.
My wife went and bought a Rottweiler.
Dog is quite a handful of attitude,  Wife says the teenager was lots easier.

She'll doo fine there.  Tell the wife it she's still suffering from empty next syndrome in a few weeks she can get another dog!  I warn you that any more and you will need a bigger place though!  Lol...wish her luck, and I hope I have the opportunity to shoot with you some more!  You need to make it out to Carson so we can start hitting the range again buddy!

About that another dog thing....a friends house just burned down, they lost everything except their dogs and the clothes on their backs...going to buy them dog bowls and food this weekend, so they don't have to debate on whether to buy food for themselves or their dogs.

Tell her that now's the time to be able to walk around nekkid in the house all the time.

With 5 dogs, that's a really bad idea...
