I'm surprised Jerry Jones didn't hand him a check and a bus ticket after the last kick.

I wish he'd rid of Roy Williams too.

Who? no I'm not going to google him.

I bet he finishes the season.  He's been consistent and reliable until recently, I think the fact that he had hip surgery in May has affected his kicking rythym  IMHO.

The only thing that he has to do and he has a hard time getting it done. 9 missed kicks for the season. If I was a coach I would fine players for shit plays. Kickers miss a FG or extra point, well there goes a couple grand. Miss a catch or get intercepted? Couple grand fine. I bet you would see some extra effort. Performance based.

Just needs to get his stuff back. He's pushing everything way too hard.

kickers dont get their stuff back, they are worse than QB's once they are damaged goods they are done.  Maybe ok in a new city but to much pressure in the same place to turn things around.

He has been here once and got run off .............for Folk I think.

It's a shame kickers have such a short shelf life.

If the missed kick had cost them the game I think he'd be gone on Monday but I think he'll finish the season.

The Cowboys are only playing 2 more games this season anyway

True but I believe it was a joke. Shaun was cut by the Redskins the day following their loss to the Saints last week when he shanked a gimme kick.

This wasn't a game loser for them so Folk will stay until the end of the short season left.

Well Folk may be leaving a team, but look who was just added to Team Ar15.com

I bet he finishes the season and if he makes any BIG kicks at the end of the season he will stick around. Jerry Jones is all flash and if Nick kicks a few big kicks....he will be in good shape.

He needs to go or at least let someone else kick and he can back up. He cost us the game and made this game interesting instead of over. Romo can stop holding too its obvious thats not the prob i wish he would get his mojo back cuz he was money every time now he's fucked up in the head.

Report: Cowboys will sign Suisham

Shaun Suisham, who was in Dallas for a tryout with the Cowboys
today, will sign with the team, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports, and his
first game with his new team will be Sunday night against the Redskins
at FedEx Field.

Although Suisham missed a chip-shot field goal late in the fourth
quarter of the 33-30 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints two weeks
ago and two field goals –– including a 39-yarder –– in the 7-6 loss to
the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 22, he converted 18 of 21 field-goal
attempts this season and is the most accurate place kicker in team
history among those with at least 100 career field-goal attempts. He
also had performed well in executing the designed kickoffs special
teams coordinator Danny Smith called.

While Suisham is good enough to earn a job on the strength of his
performance, the Cowboys had added incentive to sign him because of
what he knows about his former team. According to several players,
Suisham was heavily involved in the trick plays on punts and field-goal
attempts that Smith enjoys designing. Punter Hunter Smith has rushed
for a touchdown and thrown a touchdown pass this season.

There's no word yet whether the Cowboys will cut Nick Folk, he of
the 24-yard clanger that would have given Dallas a 10-point lead over
the Saints with 2:10 to play Saturday night. The Cowboys won the game
and, Ed Werder of ESPN reports, may opt to put Folk on the
season-ending injured-reserve list. He had offseason hip surgery.
