My dad sent me this night vision periscope that he bought from a friend of his that is getting them as surplus in Canada. I guess they came off M113s? It appears to be Generation II...the image is pretty clear. I tried to get some pics off the vision screen, but they didn't turn out. Now my question is WTF should I do with this thing? Any practical use? Does anyone here have any use for it? If someone thinks they can use it for something I might be willing to sell it for what my dad had into it. I thought about installing it on the roof of my Ford Focus....but I think the cops would get pissed if I drove around with my headlights off. |
