Since the grabbers have been rattling their cages, I now must get a 5-7 pistol.

Are there any rumblings of winchester, remington, etc making the 5.7X28 round?

Winchester / Olin DOES make the 5.7x28. In fact, they're the ONLY manufacturer of it.

ammoman.com is not an answer to Belfry's question. He didn't ask who had FN made SS192. He asked if anyone has heard of any major ammunition manufacturers planning to produce their own versions of 5.7x28.

A gunshop owner who in my experience is extremely knowledgeable told me that Hornady may be producing the 5.7 x 28mm ammo soon.

They're already making the bullets, I guess it wouldn't be that big a step. Hopefully if they do, they'll make something other than the SS196 load.

I'd like a 5-7 and a P90 but unless I can get useful ammo I won't buy one. 40gr Vmax at 1300 fps just doesn't do it for me.
