I'm interested in the number of people who will be able to complete this exercise.
Question #1 When a radio or TV host makes a claim about corruption, ill intent or negligence on the part of a member of the government or the government in general you: A, dismiss it as tinfoil BS. B, try to substantiate it. C, believe it automatically Rants, smart ass remarks, attacking a particular host or the promotion of a particular host are not answers. Only the letters A, B and C count as a response. Question #2 I (you) base my opinions on: A, my own ability to distinguish fact from fiction and need no other information. B, what my friends believe and what I observe. C, research, data and carefully sifted information Same as question #1,only A, B and C count. Question #3 Some things can be true for some people but not others. The above statement is: A, ridiculous B, true C, an un-natural lack of logic. Same as #'s 1&2 Question #4 Even though there have been major shifts in the political, religious and cultural order of the world before: A, it can't happen anymore. B, it will happen and there is nothing anyone can do about it. C, it will happen again if we let it. Again, only the letters A, B and C are legitimate answers. |

Quoted:
1: B 2: C 3: B (objective truth is impossible to access. perceived truth is actually a belief shaped by language the the structure of the perceiving mind) 4: B [edit: and i second possumking's objection––the framing of question 3 is terribly imprecise.] #3 is a quoted statement followed by a question. If I had put it in quotation marks it would have been more likely that someone would google it. I wanted to know what people thought about the statement with out knowing who said it. |
