So I'm trying to make a vid on Windows Movie Maker, and i'm about 4/5 through it and now whenever I try to do anything with it, it tells me there isn't enough storage space to do what I want to do. WTF?!?! I have 20Gb free on my HD, plenty of RAM, and the task manager shows anywhere from 70-90% of resources free at all times. I'm out of ideas, and REALLY pissed off! |
Wherein lies your problem, most likely. HDDs are cheap these days. Sounds like time to upgrade. Edit: If you run SATA If you still run IDE |

+1 on the upgrade. Hell, I haven't used a 40GB drive in years. Too damn small. Don't know what the specific requirements for Movie Maker are but between what is probably too little free space and a drive that is pig-slow by todays standards you're probably SOL for working with video. If you're working with DV you're looking at about 200 MB per *minute* of video. |
