| I bought a new 64 bit, Win7, Pentium dual-core system with 3GB RAM. I want to bump it up in RAM. I opened it up, and there are 2 slots. Does that mean that I need to get two DDR2 RAM cards with as high a piece of RAM as I can? |

Since yours supports 3GB, I would guess that 4GB is not out of the question. |

Just go to crucial.com and look up your laptop model and they will tell you exactly what type and how much memory you can put in it. |
