I am curious to what opinions are (yes I know GD will surely have some lovely opinions) about this coming Nov 4th election. Do you think the Republican party is in trouble? Will McCain/Palin win the day? Will Obama/Biden take control? Bear with me here on this next part. At first I wasn't very happy with McCain vs Obama, but I planned on voting for McCain. When McCain picked Sarah I was very ecstatic and excited and proud to vote for Palin, obviously more so than just for McCain. Is the republican party in trouble? Meaning, will McCain/Palin be able to withstand the assaults of the MSM and Obamessiah's Children (not his literal children but his flock of sheep)? What's your opinion? Will they win the election? |

It is to early to say for certain, but by all accounts, the race is in a dead heat and the momentum curve seems to be shifting away from Obama towards McCain. The real betting can begin once the debates hit the airwaves. Right now, I put it at 50/50. If McCain does pull it off, it will be a major coup, and we will watch the democratic party (mainly the radical end) self-destruct. A major movement from the DNC towards a more moderate candidate will be attempted for 2012, and the crazy left will have none of it. It may spark a Perot-esque moment for the dems. All bets are off if we lose. Hopefully, Obama will piss off the world in his first four years, without causing to much damage. The amount of damage depends on how many D's ride into congress with him. ETA: We will be in the midst of a recovering economy then, and the Obama will do all he can to take credit for it. |
