I love their stuff. As per usual, their cask strength single barrel is my favorite. Get the Original or Blue Peak to start, they’re fantastic. Original is marketed as. 4 year but often has up to 9 years in the blend. It’s all distilled in CO as the first legal distillery west of the Mississippi since prohibition. All of their whiskeys are American single malts and then they do a lot of experimenting with finishing. Most are in the 90s for proof. The Blue Peak is finished in a Foeder with a Solera method, and everything is initially ages in no 3 charted American oak When I get home this will make 6 different bottles on my shelf from them. |

I was surprised and happy by its abundance in Va. I'll admit I was equally hoping for some bottles of Plymouth Navy Strength Gin but none were near the area I was sadly.

This year's Alberta Premium is better than last years release IMO. Which reminds me I need to go get another one!

Had some luck today. Parked in front of a real shitty liquor store with typically zero selection. Wife wanted a cold drink so we went in to buy her a propel. Came out with this.

I've become fond of the Probitas. Makes a pretty decent caipirinha (can't find cachaca around here)....... |
