I've been panic-buying AR15s since before the Clinton AWB in 1994.

I have enough spare parts to build multiple complete guns, including several 6.5 Grendels and 5.56 blasters, with more stock and handguard options than you can shake a stick at.

After doing plate rack drills with the MP5K, I knew I had to have one.

AR15s in 9mm with blowback are not the same.

MP5K in .40 S&W with LRBHO (FBI HRT mechanism), Hk polymer mags, and Hk parts support is available.

I'm close, but not yet at the point where all my ARs have the exact furniture, slings, optics, optics mounts, lights, suppressors, and IR aiming devices (for those that should have them) that I want.  Then I still need to buy a PVS-14.  When I buy a URGI clone I'll have to get an LPVO and mount, OTAL, and suppressor for that too.  So I'm not done with ARs yet, but I still bought a PTR-9CT this year because I got tired of not having an MP5 clone.

Inert rifle grenades.  There's a design in the DD forum that looks promising.  Shot a friends M203 and realized spigot launched projectiles are a lot of fun for a lot less trouble.

Otherwise upgraded optics and NV and Thermal.

The CMMG Guard radial delayed blowback 9mm upper also has appeal.  If that works out I'll stop looking for an in-state MP5 or Sterling deal.

Rifle grenades are just fun if you have the land area to play with them.

If you ever shoot a 203, they are a let down for the most part, unless you get to spendex or train with them in volume.

Check out the GHM-9 if you want something fairly reasonably priced.  Mag prices still suck but theyre not too bad on sale.  Still cheaper than MP5 mags.  If you don't go roller lock I'd look hard at B&T.  The APC9 is very nice as well, but more expensive than the GHM.  For as much as I like (and want another) semi auto sub-guns...they always fall to the wayside as "cool toys" and are surpassed by other priorities.  Maybe I'll stop beating around the bush and pick something up again soon.

I didn't see the point of pistol caliber carbines/semi-auto SMG look-alikes, until I did plate rack drills with them.

Now I'm ready to devote some serious effort and resources to getting one, suppressed, with what I want.

Been watching as many reviews comparing them all:

I have been looking at the Brügger & Thomet as well.  It's very low profile compared to the others, and looks amazing with the tailhook.

There are binary triggers for it too.

I know what he meant, and no harm done, but you are unfortunately correct that the left will do whatever they want with our content, including making shit up if they can’t a usable quote.
FTF is totally legal in TX, and our local PD and SD each have camera-covered sale sites, and they recommend them for internet sales and especially guns.
A buddy with the SD only buys FTF as well.

Recently I have been buying AR pistols. I bought another AR pistol last week in 5.56 to add to the .300 BLK one I bought earlier this year. Both will be suppressed.

But I have come to the conclusion that for me a safe full of rarely/never fired guns is pointless. I've decided that I will not be buying additional guns unless I have a clear need for a specific gun. For example, if I were to decide to change carry pistols in the future (I still have hopes the P365 will turn out to be a reliable choice...).

So my 'next direction' is selling guns.  I want to dump nearly all the AK types I have (along with a ton of ammo I have for them), some pistols, and possibly a few ARs I won't shoot much in order to help fund NODs and more suppressors, which will be far more useful to me than a safe stacked with unused guns.

I would like an MP5 (or a clone); but the initial cost of the gun and the price of magazines, keeps me away from the platform.

Overall, I have been selling (wrong time, I know); but I'm tired of having money tied up in things that aren't used (often, or ever). So, I will keep the ones I really like and funnel that cash into more ammo, training, ect...

I've kinda liked the SVD though.  I wouldn't mind having an SVD for my DM courses so we can compare them, especially for closed courses.
